Huawei's HG659 local webserver connection timeout or drop
The most likely cause is that the lease of the DHCP address expired, or the server's IP address is not listed in the reservation pool. So we need to make the DHCP lease permanent. To solve this, log into your admin: http://192.168.1.1/ and follow the steps below.
Step 1.
- Click on LAN Interface.
- Scroll down to DHCP Reservation.
- Create a new static address.
- Fill in the IP of your local webserver and select the name.
- Save.
Step 2.
- Scroll to DHCP server
- Set Lease duration to; Permanent.
- Save.
Done.
